I designed the Lacaze range for Naked Wines, based on the winemaker’s desire for something serious, striking, and enigmatic.
He was drawn to outsider art, and sculpture — which led to the use of textured imagery featuring Moai statues. The statues bring a sense of timelessness, quiet endurance, and mystery — qualities that reflect the deep character of the wines.
The labels pair bold, earthy textures with copper foil typography, creating a distinctive and collectible range that feels both modern and deeply rooted in place.
