Old Winchester Hill
Hampshire, England

Named after a well-known local landmark in Hampshire, the brief for this label was deliberately open to interpretation.

Instead of following continental labelling traditions, I aimed for something unmistakably English yet timeless. Antique-style typefaces were paired with a bold, British road sign-inspired sans serif to give the bottle a balance of elegance and utilitarian charm.

Imagery sourced from Victorian periodicals added a rich visual thread, anchoring the concept in history while still feeling distinctive.

Printed on clear PET labels in France, using embossed foil on the front label and micro embossing on the neck label. The wine was crafted by Ian Kellett, winemaker at the renowned Hambledon Vineyard
